THE UNFOLDING DRAMA: ADAM, EVE AND THE FORBIDDEN FRUIT – part II

A WOMAN’S EXPERIENCE OF EVE’S INHERITANCE AND THE FORBIDDEN FRUIT – part II

As Eve´s daughter, women spell trouble. We stir up the atmosphere. Wherever we appear there is ambivalence. I don’t remember a moment in my life where I wasn’t questioning, and I don’t think that I am very different from my sisters.

Even as a child there was always a power inside of me pulling strings and knowing more than I “thought” I did. All I had to do was focus and adjust my feelings in order to connect with something. Flashes of insight provoked by the peak experience of that kind of tuning-in allowed me to glimpse aspects that might best be described as invisible. When the tedium of endless mindlessness is broken by an exercise of personal initiative, the creatures and everyone connected to them are condemned to endure a saga of misfortune, suffering and pain. The plot is set for the play of polarities that will define the material world.

Act I

As lead actor, Adam is a weak, henpecked specimen of manhood. Eve as airy-fairy believer is the supporting actress who drives him from behind the […]
